Andra Moore, owner of Pets and Moore, has been boarding and grooming pets in San Marcos for over 30 years!

At a young age, Andra rescued all types of critters, providing homes for them and developing what was to become an enduring love for animals of all types. Through high school she competed in barrel racing on the rodeo circuit and continued her passion of helping animals by working as a veterinary technician through college. She attended Texas State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences. In 1992, she opened Pets and Moore, a trusted facility that people could bring their pets to have their own little vacation while they were away. Over the last 30 years, Pets and Moore has expanded to include a range of sports, training and private facility and swimming rentals that the greater San Marcos area can enjoy, and was even voted Best Kennels of Hays County in 2023. Andra's mission is to provide quality care to all animals and give local pets a place to call home away from home!

Andra supports other local pet organizations such as P.A.L.S. and the San Marcos Animal Shelter. She enjoys helping to accelerate the adoption of animals in any way she can!
